36 Days of type
is the most known Instagram typography event that takes part once a year. Artists are challenged to design a letter or number for each day, showing the outcome of the ability to represent the same symbols from thousands of different perspectives.
Outcome
The main idea of my artworks is the unusual "International Holidays". I made a series of posters with numbers of the date when each Holiday is celebrated. I also made them all in different techniques to show my creative capabilities
1
is for 1st of April - the International Bird Day
It is an annual event timed to the return of birds from places of wintering. My work symbolizes the process of disappearing a bird species - any kind of birds because the image is general and collective. The number 1 means not only the date of celebration but also the last, the only one remaining creature.
I made a papercut artwork, using a craft knife, black and white paper.
2
is for 2nd of July - World UFO day
It was organized by WorldUFODay.com in 2001, and was put together to bring together enthusiasts of UFO’s and the evidence they’ve all gathered to support their existence.
My work is devoted to the most recognized movie scene where aliens steal a cow from a farm. I tried to picture the feelings of the cow being suddenly taken off. This picture was made in Corel Draw X5.
3
is for the 3rd of March - World Writers Day
It was established by the International Congress of PEN Club in 1986. The International PEN Club is a worldwide association of writers founded in London in 1921, in order to promote friendship and intellectual support among writers from all the corners of the world.

is for 4th October - World Animal day
It is celebrated to raise the status of animals in order to improve welfare standards around the globe. Building the celebration of World Animal Day unites the animal welfare movement, mobilizing it into a global force to make the world a better place for all animals.
Today I borrowed my sister's markers to draw this bright and funny art.
5
is for 5th of August - International traffic light day
The world's first traffic light was developed by American policemen Lester Wire who also used red-green lights. The world’s first electric traffic signal is put into place on the corner of Euclid Avenue and East 105th Street in Cleveland, Ohio, on this day in 1914. It also had two colors, red and green, and a buzzer to provide a warning of color changes.
This work is based on a very beautiful picture taken by Lukas Zimmerman, a German photographer, I made a photo collage in Photoshop.
6
is for 6th of July - International Kiss day
It was established in 2006 to focus on the kissing that takes place between lovers, and to celebrate the place it holds in our society. But romantic kissing isn’t the only place that kissing happens in our culture and society. Among the high society, it’s not at all unusual to greet with a kiss on each cheek, a tradition that heralds back to the Old World. Overall, kissing has played an important role in social bonding since time out of mind, and International Kissing Day celebrates them all!
For this work, I used my own lips as a tool to create a number made of kisses.
8
is for 8 of June - World Oceans day
World Oceans Day is an annual observation to honor, help protect, and conserve the world's oceans. The ocean provides us with many resources and services including oxygen, climate regulation, food sources, medicine, and more. World Oceans Day also provides an opportunity to take personal and community action to conserve the ocean and its resources.
For this artwork, I molded small whales from clay and put them in the shape of number 8, and added a water background in Photoshop.
